The COVID-19 virus was first identified in late 2019, and by March 2020 had been declared a global pandemic. Alpinter has been heavily involved in the international response, initially contributing to the field hospital serving initial returns to Belgium from Wuhan Province, and eventually fabricating and supplying over 2,000 hospital tents, 50,000 family tents and large numbers of hygienic parcels with disinfectant gels to International Humanitarian Agencies in Europe, South America, Africa and the Middle-East.
