On 28 September 2018, an earthquake and tsunami struck Sulawesi, Indonesia. Houses, buildings, roads and other critical infrastructures were heavily damaged or destroyed and at least 2100 people were killed.

Soon after the earthquake and tsunami, NGO’s arrived in the region to set up shelter and infrastructure for the affected communities. Alpinter supplied Family Tents, RED Tents and HUB Tents from our warehouses in Belgium, China and the UAE to assist several organisations responding to the crisis.
