An estimated 655,000 to 700,000 people were reportedly displaced from Cambodia to Bangladesh between 25 August 2017 and December 2017, fleeing conflict in Rakhine State. On behalf of several major humanitarian organisations, Alpinter airlifted large quantities of plastic tarpaulins and HUB tents to both Dhaka and Chittagong to assist with the immediate humanitarian response. In the following months, Alpinter also shipped Hygiene Kits, Shelter Tool Kits Jerry Cans and Mosquito Dome Tents to aid ongoing international relief programs.
