Our Origins
Alpinter has designed, manufactured and delivered shelter and emergency relief items in support of crisis response for more than 30 years. Headquartered in Belgium and with a network of manufacturing units and distribution hubs throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia, Alpinter is the preferred long-term one-stop supply partner for UN agencies, the Red Cross/Red Crescent network, Government Agencies and NGOs worldwide.
Introducing SHIELD
SHIELD is a new business unit active under the umbrella of Alpinter since 2023. SHIELD adds capabilities to be the reliable supply partner for shelter and related equipment & services to international organisations and corporations active in disaster response, civil defence and the security/defence sector.
SHIELD can leverage the vast experience of the Alpinter Team in emergency relief supply to provide robust and flexible options for temporary shelter systems such as accommodation camps, operational bases, mobile field hospitals, and all related equipment.
The SHIELD product portfolio includes Tented Structures adopted to the requirements of this field, combined with versatile accessories such as bedding, generators, climate control and other auxiliary furniture and equipment.
