ALPINTER ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARD

Our mission is to create adapted core relief solutions that serve our clients and beneficiaries in different emergency situations around the world. In doing so, Alpinter recognises that our activities will have an environmental impact. Therefore, we organise our everyday business according to 4 environmental principles, which guide us to minimise the impact of our activities on the environment:

• Conscious material choices:
  In all our activities, we carefully select and choose the materials we work with, taking into account performance, durability and eco-friendliness.
• Logistics optimisation:
  We optimise our products, their packing and our logistics solutions to ship and transport the products as efficiently and eco-consciously as possible.
• Waste elimination and second life:
  In all aspects of production, we integrate processes that allow us to optimise our production and eliminate as much waste material as possible. With regards to our beneficiaries, we encourage the re-use (i.e. give a second life) of the packing of the products and the products themselves if they no longer serve their initial goal, and design our products and packaging with this in mind.
• Conscious use of natural resources
  In all activities, we consciously deal with the use of natural resources. We switch off lights, heating, save water and energy whenever possible.
