Libya is reeling from the destructive impact of Cyclone Daniel, which led to the collapse of two dams and widespread devastation in several cities. The death toll has exceeded 11,000, with over 20,000 individuals still unaccounted for.

In swift response to this crisis situation, BFAST, Belgium’s emergency response unit for international crises, is dispatching a substantial amount of humanitarian aid to Libya. The aid includes 240 RED tents, 700 sleeping bags, 500 shelter tool kits, and 3,900 individual hygiene kits. These provisions will provide shelter, warmth, and essential hygiene items to those affected by the cyclone.

At Alpinter, we have mobilized our stock resources in our multiple warehouses, are closely monitoring the situation, and are ready to assist our partners in the coming hours and days.
