Our manufacturing facilities continue to work at maximum capacity to meet the exceptional demand for shelter and relief items in response to the current COVID-19 crisis. To ensure the safety of our workers, we deployed our expert stitchers to produce several thousand cotton face masks for distribution and use in our manufacturing facilities and HQ. In conjunction with distancing and hand washing measures, the use of face masks is recommended by the WHO to limit the spread of COVID-19 and other infectious diseases.
The safety and well-being of our partners remains our priority. With this in mind, we took the opportunity to donate over 4,000 of our internally made face masks to a range of humanitarian organisations in Europe for distribution to their teams and volunteers. Overcoming this global pandemic will require everyone to do their part, and we hope that this small contribution will help these organisations to rapidly get back to assisting others.
