GAZA: ALPINTER SUPPLIES EMERGENCY AID TO B-FAST

In the context of the crisis in the Middle East, Belgium is sending out emergency aid to the residents of Gaza through B-FAST, in response to requests for assistance received.

This week, a shipment of sleeping bags and hygienic parcels left from the Belgian Alpinter Warehouse and will be sent from Ostend Airport to El-Arish Airport in Egypt, via the humanitarian air path set up by DG ECHO. A following shipment will include Red Tents, also destinated to the affected areas. For the supply and distribution of the relief items, B-Fast will collaborate with, among others, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.

Besides B-Fast, Alpinter has supplied relief items to partner organisations of UKAID and WHO which are all active in the region since the start of the conflict.
