Alpinter RED workshop

Our RED masterclass was a success!

On Saturday 25 February, members from the Alpinter team and volunteers from SOS Attitude went to Oudenaarde for a workshop and masterclass focused on the RED tent.

Organised specifically for SOS Attitude, in just half a day, we were able to visit the warehouse where our stock is kept, take a look at the different tents and other core relief items Alpinter is offering and most importantly, deliver a workshop focused on setting up the RED tent.

The RED tent

The RED tent was designed and developed by Alpinter following the Haiti Earthquake (2011). Produced by Alpinter, the lightweight family tent  is made of PE, meaning it is not sensitive to fungi, can be disinfected and is inherently slow flame spread. It weights only 28 kg, so is easy to transport and set up.  Click here for further information.
